BYD proudly sponsors BVRLA Annual Dinner 2025

BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the BVRLA Annual Dinner in London for the second year running. This prestigious black-tie event, a cornerstone of the UK rental, fleet management and leasing sector calendar, will take place on 5th March 2025 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. This collaboration underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the UK market.

By supporting this flagship industry event, BYD seeks to enhance awareness of its extensive range of eco-friendly electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, tailored for the rental and leasing sectors. The brand is backed by a dedicated UK fleet team of 10 people, providing product and service expertise.

In less than two years, BYD has successfully introduced three fully electric vehicles to the UK market: the BYD ATTO 3, BYD DOLPHIN, and BYD SEAL, along with its first plug-in hybrid, the SEAL U DM-i – with the all-new all-electric SEALION 7 arriving in the UK imminently.

Furthermore, in 2024, BYD sold over 4,000 vehicles in the fleet and business channel which represents growth of over 500% vs 2023.

The BVRLA Annual Dinner will host over 800 attendees, including BVRLA members and senior industry stakeholders. The evening features the presentation of the Industry Hero Awards and the Freddie Aldous Outstanding Contribution Award, alongside entertainment from comedian and broadcaster Tom Allen. The event also supports the automotive industry charity, Ben, raising funds to provide essential, often lifesaving, support to individuals in the automotive sector.
