Lanzante at Goodwood: what’s in store

Lanzante returns to the grounds of Goodwood, with another impressive line-up of some of the rarest and exclusive cars, including the global unveil of the latest project honouring the 30th anniversary of the victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As part of the biggest display to-date for the British engineering brand, Lanzante will also debut several newly developed vehicles, alongside a newly curated range of merchandise, several examples of the F1 GTR running on track, and the opportunity to experience the famous Hillclimb on the latest range of professional simulators.

Split between the enhanced show stand and the Supercar Paddock, Lanzante will showcase several road-converted examples of the track-developed models. The first-ever road-going examples of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Pagani Huayra R will debut, with both taking to the famous Hill course over the weekend, while a newly recommissioned road-going version of the Porsche 911 GT3 racer will feature as part of the Lanzante display. McLaren P1 models will also be displayed, with the latest P1 GTR road conversion project joined by two different examples of the P1 HDK, both commissioned to match classic McLaren F1 specifications. Celebrating two wheels and Carl Fogarty, Lanzante will also have two examples of the road-legal FP1 super bike. 150 of these homologation specials were developed and built in conjunction with the four-time WSB champion and Petronas.

Showcasing three of these projects, and Lanzante’s own Le Mans anniversary project, four capsule collections will be offered from the Lanzante boutique at Goodwood this year. Limited edition t-shirts and numbered skatedecks, created in conjunction with the renowned design studio at Garage Welt, celebrate the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Pagani Huayra R, Porsche 911 GT1 and the Lanzante 95-59. These are offered alongside a heritage design long-sleeve t-shirt inspired by the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning race team overalls.

These special edition collections are offered alongside an updated Ganesh Signature collection which includes a range of Lanzante-branded t-shirts, caps and a weekend bag, as well as small mementoes of the Festival weekend, including pinbadges and keyrings.

Completing the Lanzante presence over the weekend will be three examples of the McLaren F1 GTR – chassis 13R, 16R and 28R – which are being run as part of the central feature of the Festival of Speed, honouring Gordon Murray.

Finally, visitors to the Festival of Speed will also have an opportunity to virtually experience the McLaren F1 GTR and the famous Goodwood Hill course. Located next to the Lanzante boutique, Cool Performance will have examples of their professional F1 and GT racing simulators, offering a chance to drive up Goodwood Hill throughout the weekend. Renowned for building the most realistic home simulators on the market, their systems are owned and trusted by drivers racing at the highest level including Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, and Alex Albon.

The Lanzante stand will officially be opened by the Duke of Richmond at 10.00am BST, Thursday 10 July. The global reveal of the Lanzante 95-59 will then take place an hour later, at 11.00am BST.
