Appy days! Dacia has launched the world’s first augmented reality ‘Boot Organiser’ tool within its ‘Dacia AR’ app, transforming how customers can efficiently load and optimise their boot space.

Designed to take away the stress of loading the car ahead of a weekend break, Bank Holiday adventure or when moving house, the innovative tool helps users visualise exactly where to put everything from suitcases to surfboards.

If the item is not available on the extensive list within the tool, which even includes skis and sleeping bags, users have the option to add items themselves to truly reflect what they’re packing.

What’s more, different demo scenarios are available including a camping trip, moving house, or holiday so that users can understand how best to optimise the space in their boot.

The tool joins a raft of services that expand Dacia’s digital environment, designed to be useful in everyday life, in keeping with the brand’s clear philosophy.

Another example is ‘Dacia Travel Companion’, which encourages users to head out and explore, while making their journey safer and more enjoyable. Features include monitoring signs of fatigue by analysing facial expressions as well as sleep data and the suggestion of places of interest to stop along a route, personalised to the driver, so that they can take a break in a meaningful way. The app is compatible with Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps.

An everyday smartphone now establishes a permanent connection between owners and Dacia, whether they’re driving their car or are away from it. For convenience, a single account optimises the customer experience that is provided via Dacia’s various tools, all of which are available on both iOS and Android.
