Dacia is celebrating the opening of a brand-new retailer in Letchworth, conveniently located just minutes from the A1 in Hertfordshire.

On a spacious site, covering 1.5 acres, the state-of-the-art, purpose-built premises includes a large showroom that can display up to 4 new Dacia vehicles, plus outside space for up to 100 Approved Used cars. With brands from the Renault Group represented, it also offers aftersales service with a newly equipped workshop with 11 servicing ramps.

What’s more, 24/7 electric charging is available to the public, no matter what brand of vehicle they drive.

Nearly half a million pounds has been invested in the facility in an area that hasn’t had a Dacia retailer for more than a decade. In addition to bringing the Dacia brand to new buyers, it will also create job opportunities as it expands upon the 30 team members who were already employed at the previous franchise occupying the site.

In a prime position on Icknield Way in Letchworth (SG6 1TD), the new retailer features the latest Dacia identity, with many of the showroom’s fixtures and fittings made from recycled materials. The star of the show(room) is Bigster – Dacia’s first C-segment SUV – which was welcomed to the UK last month with a big shout from the world’s loudest town crier.

Managing Director of the new site, Paul Callis, said: “We are incredibly proud to be appointed to represent Dacia and fill the gap in the area. We are sure that the adventurous spirit of the brand, its practical designs and renowned value for money will appeal to plenty of people in the home counties.”

Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, added: “This facility is a real benchmark for Dacia and is a fantastic illustration of our brand. It further boosts the service and sales availability for our owners and prospects in the area. It adds another chapter to Dacia’s success story, attracting more customers than ever thanks to our new model launches that have never been more aligned to drivers’ needs.”
